7 Little Johnstons fans never seem to run out of reasons to throw Amber Johnston under the bus. Based on recent scenes, viewers had even more ammunition to use against her. So, what did fans have to say recently about why Amber is a hypocrite?
7 Little Johnstons: Fans Have Called Out Amber Johnston For Inserting Herself Into Everything
No matter what is going on with the 7 Little Johnstons family, whether they are filming for TLC or doing something off-camera, fans have pointed out for years how Amber Johnston always has to put herself in the middle of the action.
The way 7 Little Johnstons fans see it, no matter what is going on, even if it’s a situation between Liz Johnston and Brice Bolden, Amber always seems to find a way to make the situation about her. After so many years of watching this play out, the vast majority of viewers are fed up.
In recent 7 Little Johnstons Season 15 scenes, fans saw that Liz was struggling with the reality that she would have to go back to work after being on maternity leave with Leighton. The way that viewers saw it, instead of being supportive and sympathetic to how Liz was feeling, Amber Johnston all but pushed her out the door.
7 Little Johnstons fans also drew attention to a previous quote from Amber Johnston where she talked about being a stay-at-home mom. The quote in question from Amber is: “You know, when Jonah and Elizabeth were born, they did not go to daycare. I stayed at home but there was times where I would have to leave one of them. And it’s super hard because as a mom, nobody else can do it like you. And nobody can do it as good as you.”
7 Little Johnstons Fans Roast Amber Johnston
This above quote from Amber is in stark contrast to the way that Amber seems to be pushing Liz to get back to work in current 7 Little Johnstons scenes. Trent volunteered to help watch baby Leighton while Liz and Brice are working, however, Trent is also dealing with vertigo and other things related to his shrinking brain.
Either way, 7 Little Johnstons fans were quick to drag Amber across the coals, and they really let her have it.
- One commenter said: “Amber seemed so happy to send Liz to work, no compassion, no “you can stay home with the baby longer because YOU LIVE WITH US”, nothing but her normal smug fave.”
- Another commenter chimed in, adding: “One thing that bothered me about that scene, was that Amber made it all about herself.Liz was obviously experiencing some very hard emotions about leaving her child so soon.It wasn’t that she was worried that the baby wouldn’t be OK, it was that she couldn’t be there. But Amber kept saying “I’ve got it. She’ll be fine. I’ve got it.” What should’ve happened was Amber hugging her child and recognizing the difficulty she was going through in that moment. Now, that was probably a reenactment of how it went down, and you could still see the pain that Liz was feeling. I can only imagine what it was really like when she truly was leaving her child for the first time.”
