Good Bye!!! Sister Wives: Season 19 is officially over and here’s why Why wasn’t the new episode released this weekend?
Kody’s initial marriages to Meri, Janelle, and Christine, began in the 1990s and spanned through the next two decades without much major issue as they built their families, welcoming over a dozen children together. When Kody began pursuing Robyn in 2010, it was out of character for the patriarch but ultimately became what would push the family apart in the future. Bringing a fourth wife with kids from a previous marriage into the family, Kody married Robyn in 2014 and legally divorced Meri so he could legally marry Robyn and adopt her children into the family. Things began to grow tense.
During Sister Wives season 17 and Sister Wives season 18, the tensions grew too high to handle for the Brown family. With Robyn and Kody having become the primary couple in the family, Christine, Janelle, and Meri understood that their relationships with Kody were perfunctory. With his performative marriages feeling their weight, Kody chose Robyn over others every time. As Kody’s original wives began leaving the family, things grew increasingly dire for the Browns. While Sister Wives season 19 will be exploring a new dynamic in the family, I think things have become too broken to continue past this season.
Sister Wives Season 19 Will Be A Big Change
The Show Will Be Different
Christine Brown Is In A New Relationship
She’s Happy With Her New Love
Christine’s relationship has been a huge milestone in her life, as she feels like she’s fallen in love genuinely for the first time. With her marriage to David already having been documented in the series, things will now go back in time a bit so her relationship can be seen from early on. After Sister Wives season 19, documenting Christine in her relationship with her husband on the show may feel strange. I believe Christine may move to her own series if Sister Wives comes to an end.
Janelle Brown Is Still Grieving Her Loss
She’s Moving Forward After Unimaginable Pain
Although the tragic events of Janelle’s son Garrison Brown’s passing likely won’t be featured on Sister Wives season 19 until late in the season, her current day-to-day life has been a mix of grief and growth. Janelle, who was Kody’s second wife, is hopeful that by sharing her story she can help other mothers going through something similarly painful. Even with the major loss hanging over her head, Janelle has been one of the most positive lights in the Sister Wives cast over the years.
Meri Brown Has Moved On With Her Life
She’s Left Arizona Entirely
As Kody’s first wife, Meri was in the family the longest out of anyone and has moved on the quickest after the end of her marriage. Meri and Kody’s issues were long documented, and it was clear to Sister Wives viewers that he didn’t have much interest in his first wife by the end of their relationship. Even so, Meri tried her hardest to make her marriage work until it was obvious that it wasn’t going to anymore.
With such tenacity, Meri chose to forge ahead after her relationship with Kody ended and has entered an entirely new phase in her life. Moving away from the family and heading to Utah to keep herself busy with her several businesses, Meri has moved on with her life after Sister Wives season 18. While the upcoming season may be a great look into her life now, Meri may not be as interested in sharing after Sister Wives season 19 ends.
