Tammy Slaton from 1000-Lb Sisters Pleads for Prayers and Support in Desperate Cry for Help

Tammy Slaton has shared details about a significant challenge her family is facing and is reaching out to 1000-lb Sisters fans to help her raise funds. She made her debut on TV in 2020 when she weighed over 700 pounds and was seeking weight loss surgery to jumpstart her fitness journey. Tammy underwent bariatric surgery in July 2022 and has since lost over 500 pounds between 2023 and 2024. The 1000-lb Sisters star also accomplished several goals and made improvements to her lifestyle. Lately, there have been rumors circulating that Tammy might be permanently leaving Kentucky.

Recently, Tammy used her Instagram to request help from her fans to raise money for her cousin, Katie Slaton, who’s battling stage 4 cancer. In the Instagram post, Tammy urged her followers to share their prayers and offer financial assistance if possible. She wrote, “all we’re asking is either a prayer or a small dollar donation.” Tammy expressed gratitude for any support, stating that every prayer or dollar would be greatly appreciated as they do everything they can to help Katie.

Tammy added, “I don’t want anybody to think it a prayer or even just a dollar doesn’t go unnoticed cause everything and anything would help.”
